Shredding Frequently Asked Questions

What size shred jobs can you handle?

We can handle from 10 pounds to 100,000 pounds. Our powerful shredders make no job too large or too small.

What happens to the paper after it is destroyed?

First we bale the paper into 1,000 pound bales. These bales are then held in our secure warehouse until loaded onto a truck and sent to a mill for final pulping and manufacture into new paper products.

What if I have non-paper items?

We can handle them too. We destroy diskettes, audio and video tape, microfilm, and even product recalls, prototype models or other products.

Do I need to remove rubber bands, staples, paper clips or other things?

Nope. These standard office supply items don’t bother our powerful shredders.

Do you have containers?

Yes. We have a wide variety of containers for routine service. These attractive, secure containers are designed for office areas. We can also provide containers for large clean-out projects such as purging file cabinets and storage rooms of no-longer necessary, but confidential material.

Can I witness the shredding?

Yes, this is available. We ask that you alert our office of your request so arrangements can be made.

Are you bonded and insured?

Yes. All our employees are bonded and insured. Additionally, we do background checks and drug screening when hiring. Our employees are also required to sign a document of confidentiality to protect you. We take security very seriously.

Can I drop off my documents at your facility?

Yes, and you will realize savings for it. We accept materials for shredding during regular business hours. For large loads we ask that you please call ahead.
